Employee Compliance
Any DPS Employee that provides patient care must complete the Joint Commission Requirements to be able to be placed on assignment.
Requirements for Employees Providing Patient Care
- Current TB Skin Test / Chest X-Ray
- Current CPR Certification
- Immunization Records
- Specialty testing with a passing score
- Current license / certification
- 3 CEU Credits for Non-Licensed Professional annually
- Psych Techs must have SAMA Certification
- Sitters and Companions must have CNA or other certification
